A password entry contains an Internet address (the technical term is URL, for Uniform Resource Locator) and customer account information related to that site. Credit card information can also be stored so that everything you need to make online purchases is kept in one place. All credit card and password information are stored in a single file with an extension of .PWK. You can have more than one Password Keeper file. Password Keeper files are encrypted with a Master Password to safeguard their contents. Password Keeper runs as a tray application. This means that when you run the application all you will see is an icon in the Windows system tray (usually in the lower right hand corner of the taskbar).
